Nebraska Square & Round Dance Caller Association Hall Of Fame
This award is given by the Nebraska Square
and Round Dance Callers Association to recognize callers and
cuers who have made outstanding and significant contributions to
the activity of square dancing. The award is given at the
annual meeting of the Association.
The award intends to honor individuals who
are truly OUTSTANDING as a caller or cuer.
Five categories of criteria are considered. They are:
Outstanding and significant contribution to
the activity of square dancing.
Contributions have stood the test of time.
Unselfish contribution to the activity –
reflects an attitude that thinks of others first.
Professional leadership capacity – reflects
high professional standards.
Broad influence upon the square dance activity –
reflects an influence that extends beyond the state boundaries.
It is possible that the award will not be
given annually if nominee's do not meet the criteria of every
category. If the award committee rejects a nomination, it may
be re-submitted to the next, or a future, award committee.
